What are you still doing there?

I normally do not like to read photo captions but this picture of Mr. Joshua Mike-Bamiloye caught my attention so I decided to check it out and it turned out to be really awesome. Will I just let it pass? No way!!

Picture, word and everything credit: Mr. Joshua Mike-Bamiloye. I only added one tiny little jara :)

As Christians, it is important for us to be spiritually sensitive and more importantly, obedient to the instructions of the spirit. When you find yourself in an event, a meeting, a gathering, a party etc and your spirit keeps making you uncomfortable, giving you signals to get out. please and please, get out! It might even be a church you attend, or a group of friends that you often hang out with or a relationship with that guy or girl. If your spirit is giving you warnings, please get out of it!

The pot of stew is filled with all sorts of things that are delightful to eat actually, but when the fire is lit up, don't wait until you also end up as cooked meat for someone else, the devil.

The devil is an opportunist and he is counting on your disobedience to give him the entry point into your life.
Many times, Christians know what is right but they neglect the alarm bells in their spirit until it becomes silent and they go right ahead to feed their emotions and do what ought not. Like Rev. Olusola Areogun says, "Emotionalism is the assassin of divine destiny".

II Cor.6:17 starts by saying, "Therefore come out from among them sayeth the Lord and be separate..."

I think it is time to sit back and review the things we've gotten ourselves in and detach from things that silence the Holy Spirit in the  life of a believer. You are too precious to be eaten up! Remember, the Holy Spirit will not always strive with you (Gen. 6:3). Do not win the battle within your spirit man, you will only lose to the devil later. Why not lose to the Holy Spirit now?
